Joyce Evalyn (Whitenight) Bradshaw

Joyce Evalyn Bradshaw, 84, of New Columbia, passed away on October 31, 2016 at her home with family beside her.

She was born December 25, 1931, in Berwick, the daughter of the late Vincent R. and Eva Mae (East) Whitenight.

Joyce graduated from Berwick High School in 1949. She was employed in Milton at American Home Foods (Chef Boyardee) where she worked for thirty six years.

She enjoyed taking nature walks, with the eleven dogs she had over the years and watching birds and animals come to her bird feeder.

In addition to her parents, Joyce was preceded in death by her first husband Joseph J. Bradshaw and her second husband Clayton Hulsizer, daughter Cynthia Ann Bradshaw, a great grandson Eric Pfirman, three brothers; George, William and Robert Whitenight, three sisters; Jean Whitenight, Gladys Miller and Arlene Varner, and a son-in-law Michael Thyssen.

Joyce is survived by two daughters, Deborah and her husband Dean Showers of Allenwood and Nan Thyssen of Chesapeake, VA, brother Carl Whitenight, two sister-in-laws; Connie and Bernice Whitenight, nine grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be Friday November 4, 2016 at 11:00 at Elan Memorial Park Bloomsburg with Pastor John Hill officiating.  

In lieu of flowers contributions can be made in her memory to the Lycoming County SPCA 2805 Reach Rd Williamsport, Pa 17701.
