Jeanette “Auggie” E. (Wagner) Dyer

Jeanette “Auggie” E. Dyer, 94, of Berwick, passed away Friday, February 24, 2017 at Berwick Retirement Village II.

She was born in Nescopeck on December 5, 1922, a daughter of the late Oscar E. and Anna Mae Lynn Wagner.

Auggie graduated from Nescopeck High School. She enjoyed crocheting, gardening, watching birds and her cats.  She especially enjoyed spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband Delbert “Dink” E. Dyer who passed away February 26, 1998, daughter Anna Mae Crispell who passed away March 4, 2004, two brothers Clayton Wagner and Oscar E. Wagner Jr., and sister Catherine E. Sponenberg.

Auggie is survived by two daughters Bonnie Ann Getz of Berwick and Catherine Elizabeth and her husband Allen Martz Jr. of Mifflinville. As well as eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Wednesday March 1, 2017 at 2:00 pm at James L. Hinckley Jr. Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. 1024 North Market St. Berwick, Pa 18603 with Chaplain Michael Delp officiating.  Burial will be at Elan Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends Wednesday from 1:00 pm until the time of service.
