Glenn (Tony) Frederick Collins, 86, of Berwick passed away Thursday September 15, 2016 at his residence. He was born June 4, 1930 in Berwick, a son of the late Heller and Martha (Keifer) Collins.
He graduated from Berwick High School and then entered the Army during the Korean War where he was a Corporal. After being discharged from the Army Tony went into the State Police Academy and was a State Police Officer for four years. After being a state police officer Tony took over the management of Chauncey Fowlers Confectionary Store and worked there for 24 years. He attended auctioneer school in Missouri and worked for Russel Bower for years.
Tony developed the Mobile Home Court on 17th Street and the Car Wash on Mulberry Street. He owned and operated both businesses for 16 years. After tearing down the car wash he built a building with a restaurant, big stall, and a hall and used it for bingos, auctions, and wedding receptions.
Tony was a member of Knapp Lodge # 462 for over 50 years, Caldwell Consistory Bloomsburg, Irem Temple-Wilkes Barre, Berwick Elks # 1138, Defender Fire Hall, BIDA Board of Directors, Berwick Zoning Board, and Bethany United Methodist Church.
Tony is survived by companion Eleanor (Ellie) Antonacci, and nephew Bradley Collins.
Tony was preceded in death by his parents as well as his brother Richard Collins, sister Carrie Boone, brother-in-law Fred Boone.

Services will be Monday September 19, 2016 at 10:00 am at the James L. Hinckley Jr. Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc, 1024 Market St. Berwick, with his Pastor, Reverend Stephen Portner officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery, Market St. Family will receive friends Sunday September 18, 2016 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
