Earlea J. (Schechterly) Crane

Earlea J. Crane, 82, of Hazelton and formerly of Berwick passed away Thursday September 15, 2016 at Mountain City Health and Rehabilitation Center, Hazelton. She was born November 13, 1933 in Nescopeck, a daughter of the late Robert and Ella Schechterly.

She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and gardening. Earlea is the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Earlea is survived by 7 children; Dale Schechterly and wife Sharon of Bloomsburg, Doris Honse of Berwick, Martin Crane Jr. and wife Shirley of Copperas Cove, Texas, Lisa Simmons of Berwick, Helen Clark and husband Harold of Berwick, Randy Herring and wife Leigh of Berwick, and Judy Thivierge and husband Jason of Berwick. As well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Earlea was preceded in death by her first husband Martin Crane and her grandson Cajun Thivierge, and her second husband Harry Herring Sr.

Graveside services will be Thursday September 22, 2016 at 10:00 am at Pine Grove Cemetery with Pastor Steve Potutschnig officiating. Family and friends may send online condolences to jameslhinckleyjrfuneralhome.com.
