Dorthy Marie (Peters) Schwefringhaus

Dorthy Marie Schwefringhaus, 68, of Mifflinville passed away November 24, 2016 at her residence. She was born November 30, 1947 in Nanticoke, a daughter of the late Geoge A. and Martha E. (Kittle) Peters.
She graduated from Bloomsburg High School. Dorthy worked as a waitress at many restaurants and worked in the deli department at Publix. She was a social member at Berwick VFW and Berwick Moose. She liked drawing, singing karaoke, collecting gems, watching Sci-Fi movies, and going shopping.
Dorthy is survived by two sons; Timothy T. Waters and wife Christy of Bloomsburg, and Robert Edward Waters and wife Melissa of Shamokin, two sisters; Hazel Yaple and husband Francis of Oxford, PA, and Tammi McDonald of Berwick. As well as eight grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
Dorthy was preceded in death by her husband Robert J. Schwefringhaus.
