Cynthia (Lewis) Linsinbigler, 68, of Norristown passed away unexpectedly Friday October 30, 2015 at her home.  She was born October 20, 1947 in Berwick, a daughter of the late Donald F. and Marjorie (Traugh) Lewis.

She graduated from Berwick High School, class of 1965 and from the Sinai Hospital School of Medical Technology, Baltimore, MD. After graduation, “Cindy” worked briefly as Assistant Director of Medical Records at GMC. Moving to Norristown in 1969, Cindy worked as a Certified Tumor Registrar at Sacred Heart Hospital in Norristown and Bryn Mawr Hospital in Bryn Mawr, from which she retired in 2008.

Cindy loved gardening and her passion for designing and nurturing developed her landscape into a favored garden tour stop. She particularly loved spending time with family, her children, and grandchildren. While spending time on her screened in porch with her adopted dog Bridget, she enjoyed the sights and smells of the fruits of her labor. Cindy also enjoyed shopping and playing her favorite game “Candy Crush”.

Cynthia is survived by her husband of 47 years, Clarence Linsinbigler, Jr., her high school sweetheart; two daughters: Kelly LaFrance and husband Christopher of Simsbury, CT., and Lorie Beury and husband James of Collegeville, PA; three grandchildren: Madison and Sydney LaFrance, and Brandt Beury; two sisters: Diane Lechleitner and husband Donald of Hummelstown, PA, Brenda Lewis of Hummelstown, PA; mother-in-law Mildred Linsinbigler of Berwick, and sister-in-law Sharon Clay and husband Kenneth of Berwick.

A celebration of life will be celebrated Saturday November 7, 2015 at 11:30 am at The James L. Hinckley Jr. Funeral Home, 1024 Market St. Berwick, PA 18603 with Pastor Chad Hebrink of Grace Lutheran Church of Berwick officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:30 am till time of service. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
