Charles W. Wilson

Charles W. (Corky) Wilson, 67, of Nescopeck, passed away Friday January 8, 2016 at Berwick Hospital. He was born November 27, 1948 in Berwick, a son of the late Thomas E. and Helen (Deater) Wilson.

He attended Central Columbia School, and then entered in the Army during the Vietnam War where he earned the Vietnam Service Medal with Two Bronze Service Stars, Vietnam Campaign Medal with 60 Devices, Army Commendation Medal, Combat Infantryman Badge, Air Medal, Bronze Star with V Devise and Oak Leaf Cluster. He retired from Brick Layers Union, was a member of the Nescopeck V.F.W. and the Mifflinville Fire Company. Corky was a proud member of the NRA.

Charles is survived by two children; Autumn Wilson of Nanticoke, and Thomas E. Wilson II. Of Briar Creek. Also, three grandchildren; Thomas, Chase, and Kyrstie Wilson, a great-grandson Alexander, brother Gary E. Wilson of Catawissa, and two nephews; Gary Paul Wilson, and Charles Dennis Wilson.

A memorial service will be held February 6, 2016 at 1:00 pm at the Nescopeck VFW, 435 W 3rd St, Nescopeck, PA 18635. Family and friends may send online condolences to jameslhinckleyjrfuneralhome.com.
