Charles W.H. Barnes

Charles W.H. Barnes Jr., 82, of Berwick passed away Saturday September 23, 2017 at Geisinger Medical Center. He was born April 5, 1935 in Bloomsburg, a son of the late Charles W. Sr. and Winifred (Snyder) Barnes.

He graduated from Bloomsburg High School and then was drafted in the United States Army. Charles retired from Dana Corporation, and enjoyed wood working.

Charles is survived by his wife the former Joan Hunter, whom he married April 14, 1956, two children; Wayne Barnes and wife Ann of Raleigh, NC, Susan Steiner and husband Joseph of Millville, and three grandchildren; Nathan Barnes, Palmer and Mitchell Steiner. As well as brother Richard Barnes, and two sisters Margaret Haladay and Shirley Sacavage.

Services will be at the convenience of the family at Elan Memorial Park, Lime Ridge. Family and friends may send online condolences to jameslhinckleyjrfuneralhome.com.
